The "Fivetran Transformations: Technical Enablement and Hands-on Lab" training is designed to equip System Integrator Partners with a deep understanding of modern ELT practices and how Fivetran simplifies data transformation workflows. The course contrasts traditional ETL with ELT, highlighting ELT’s reduced maintenance, increased scalability, and resilience, especially when schema changes occur.

Participants will learn key transformation technologies within the Fivetran ecosystem, including dbt Core, dbt Cloud, and Coalesce, and how to configure transformation projects, manage Git-based development workflows, and integrate with Fivetran’s automated transformation orchestration. The training also covers Fivetran Quickstart Data Models—pre-built dbt packages that accelerate time-to-value—and guides participants on orchestration options, logging, and alerting. It explores both visual and code-based development via Coalesce, scheduling, and monitoring transformations, and the benefits of prebuilt single-source and multi-source data models.

The training culminates in a hands-on lab where partners configure and deploy transformations using dbt, enabling them to deliver analytics-ready data faster and more reliably.
